Cycling Trails
120 km of multi-use cycling trails that
wind their way along canals, lakes, and rivers, as well as through
farmlands and wooded areas.
Along the seaway, on both sides of Beauharnois Canal, the 64.5-km
trail of the Parc
régional de Beauharnois-Salaberry which includes
56 km of paved trail, is lined with many rest areas and observation
and interpretation sites. On the other side of the St. Lawrence
River, the 41-km paved Soulanges
bike path follows the Soulanges Canal, passing through
wooded areas and fields, from Pointe-des-Cascades to Rivière-Beaudette.
Superb and unforgettable! You can access both trails by way of
the ferry, the crossing
at the dams, or the Saint-Timothée
basin loop. No matter which trail you choose, you’ll
enjoy a lovely, picturesque ride.
